Best Vanilla Pound Cake
It’s moist, dense and easy to make


Ingredients:
  • 2 cups All Purpose Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter Softened
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 and 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Yogurt


Instructions:
  1. Pre heat the oven to 350 Degrees F (180 degrees C).
  2. Grease and dust a loaf pan.
  3. Mix all purpose flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl and keep aside.
  4. In the bowl of your electric mixer, whisk butter and sugar until light and fluffy. ( Appox 5-6 minutes on medium high speed ).
  5. Add eggs, one at a time and mix well after each addition.
  6. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  7. Add 1/2 of the flour mixture and mix until combined.
  8. Add yogurt and mix until combined.
  9. Add the remaining flour mixture and mix until combined.
  10. Pour the batter in the prepared pan.
  11. Pour the batter in the prepared pan.
  12. Bake for 55-60 minutes until a tooth pick comes out clean.
  13. Remove the pan from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  14. Remove the cake from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack.
  15. Cut into slices and serve.
